Indian coast guard Navik(GD) syllabus:-

The written examination will be of objective type, which will generally cover subjects such as Maths, Physics, basic Chemistry, knowledge of English up to 12th standard, general knowledge, current affairs, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning, etc.

Indian coast guard Navik (gd)admit card:-

On successful submission of the online application, a unique Registration number will be provided to the candidate. This application number for future reference and for a reprint of  Indian coast guard Navik( Yantrik )or Navik (gd)admit card.

Selection the procedure of Indian coast guard Navik:-

Not Selected candidate
For candidates NOT meeting the eligibility criteria, a ‘Rejection Slip, giving the cause of rejection with the Application Number’ will be displayed.

Short-listing criteria will be based on a higher percentage of marks for a particular examination Centre. (b) The qualifying cut off percentage(%) of a particular Centre may be increased if more number of applications with a higher percentage is received.

Important document:-

(i) 3 copies of admit card having allotted roll number with latest color passport size photographs with a Blue  background(Not older than one month) 
(ii) one application form ready along with photocopies of all document
(iii) class 10thpass certificate and mark sheet,
(iv) class 12th pass certificate and mark sheet showing subjects,
(v)  caste certificate wherever required
(vi) domicile certificate of their respective state for submission at the examination Centre on the date of examination

Those who qualify written examination will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and the testing procedure will take about 2 days. Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination. (e) Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT will be conducted for all those who qualify for the written tests. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
Physical proficiency test (PFT)
(i)  1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
(ii) 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
(iii)10 Push up

Medical Exam for Indian coast guard Navik gd:-

Based on the performance in the written examination and PFT test candidates will be shortlisted for medical examination (Preliminary)
The selection list depends upon the available vacancies. The zone-wise select list of candidates will be displayed in the Indiancoastguard websites
Mere declaration of fit in the initial medical examination does not indicate selection of the candidate for the final medical at INS Chilka

Final Medical examination:-

Final Medical Examination of all selected candidates will be done at INS Chilka. Candidates, who are NOT found medically fit in the final medical examination at INS Chilka, will NOT be enrolled for training.

Remedial appeal for Indian coast guard Navik(GD):-

An appeal is permitted for medically unfit candidates after the final enrolment medical examination at INS Chilka and will be given an opportunity to appeal against the findings if they so desire at INHS Kalyani, Visakhapatnam within a maximum period of 21 days or as decided by INS Chilka.

Training Centre of the Indian coast guard:-

The basic training of Indian coast guard Navik(GD) will commence at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade. Branch/trade will be allocated as per the requirement of service and performance during basic training. Indian coast guard Naviks are liable to be discharged as unsuitable due to unsatisfactory performance at any time during the training.
